CAPITAL INVESTMENT PLANNING
Many consulting firms will require you to spend your hard earned money on their "highly specialized" and "proprietary" processes to develop Investment Plans that ultimately fail out of the gate because of their inherit complexities. We are different. We utilize the bench strength you already possess and we translate your goals into plans. This process can take just a few hours or a few days of effort depending upon your organization. We partner with you and your teams to learn and understand where you are going and identify what you need to do to win.
We are a continuous improvement believer. We strongly believe that there are no home-runs in business... but there are steps of progress and investment planning, as informed by a strategy, that is achieved through an ITERATIVE PLANNING JOURNEY every 3 - 6 months on an 18 - 24 month horizon.
The world is just changing too fast, to spend large sums of money on a 3 - 5 year plan. The 3 - 5 year plan, more often than not, gets shelved within 18 months and a new plan is written. Why? We all know why. The plan misses the human element or culture of change including the reality of the need for iterative steps towards goals that are adjusted to meet an ever changing market. We listen to you and your teams, we collaborate with them and then we create a plan that is practical and progressive... a plan that will be reviewed regularly to understand not only progress but if there needs to be adjustments to meet the ever-changing market we are living in today.

A company must know where it is going... and to really succeed, a company must measure their progress against the strategic goals or success factors. The big consultant groups will tell you that you need to invest inordinate amounts of money in data lakes and PHD's to help you understand your data and what it is telling you.
We believe that you already have most of the of data you need to measure progress toward your goals. We will leverage your existing platforms for data as we help you populate dashboards and scorecards that will measure your key performance indicators. With our help we will help you to either define or reconfirm the critical success factors you have documented and then working with you and your team members, we will develop the scorecards and dashboards that tell an accurate story and are doable in completing with regular cadence.
You will not have to wait months and years for the data to be refined, normalized or cleaned. We start with iterative steps with the data you have and when learnings are necessary for increased data investments, we will look to your direction. We will help you to create a culture of continuous improvement, where using data and facts become the norm in making decisions tactically and strategically for process excellence. We are versed in Six Sigma, Data Science as well as simple, but practical solutions as basic as using Microsoft Excel.

How many times in our careers have we wanted to do something to improve our company, our departments or have needed to share an update to those who are stakeholders in our efforts and found that we were not able to gain traction or receive continued support for your initiative? We will help you to create simple statements of truth that motivate listeners. We can also assist you in composing compelling status reports and presentations, from department level to board level.
The big firms will have you spend hours racking up consulting fees for them to develop reports and presentations that many times are just a few thoughts spread across many pages. We understand that eventually executive leaders stop funding efforts because they sense that they do not have a true status and that the organization has spent more on the report than the actual work.
We believe that a status report or request needs to be represented in 1 page. If the status cannot be represented on 1 page... then the measurement of status and the plan that is requesting funds or the identified measurement plan is just too complicated. We keep things simple and succinct.
